The Hardway is a place for sailing, crabbing and watching the boats and world go by. There is a lot of history here, with its chocolate block ramps used as practice for the D-day landings, to it’s Canadian war memorial. Look out for the SUP and kayak hire company who are often here in the Summer, when it’s too choppy at Stokes Bay. There is also an annual crabbing competition organised by the Friends of Hardway group.
