Lee on Solent sits to the west of Gosport and is on the border with Fareham. The promenade is very popular with walkers, and there are beach huts at the western section. There are many facilities here- plenty of parking, cafes, toilets, shops (in the nearby High Street), amusements and a splash park, play park and skate park right on the beach. The beach is pebbly with groynes along sections. You could easily spend the day here, and many do.
