Portchester Castle is a great place to walk around and soak up some local heritage. You can pay to go inside, or walk around the outside for free. Cross the moat, maybe pause for some crabbing, and then walk around the outside for views across to Portsmouth and the Harbour. A great place for a picnic, or to play some outdoor games, there is also a kiosk in the car park most of the time.
